  • Your suggestions will be appreciated

    Hello,

I bought a used Joyetech eGO Aio from one of our members here. It is mated to a 0.5 ohm coil. When I vape, i get lot of gurgling, hot spit back (almost burnt my tongue) and I also see that the tank gets heated up heavily.

I tried different liquids but all of them have the same issues. Please suggest what could be wrong. I am using Aspire K1 & Nautilus mini and I don't have this issue in these tanks with the same juices.

    Thanks.

0.6 ohm coil is best suited for ego aio

Which mod? What wattage are you vaping at? MTL or direct lung hits?
What concentration eLiquid? What sort of mix (VG/PG)?

Andy, it is a eGo Aio kit so there is the standard MOD which is not replaceable. I vaped on the following and have serious issue on both with gurgling, spit back and very harsh throat hit

        a) Liqua -Bright Tobbaco - 12 mg (70/30 PG VG Ratio)
        b) Aramax - Coffee - 12 mg (50/50 PG VG Ratio)
        c) Evolvevapors - English Iced Tea - 12 mg (don't know PG/VG)

        Please suggest. Thanks,

Sorry, I did read AIO but not sure why I still overlooked it .. Mehh, late hours.

Most of those eLiquids are high PG ... PG adds to throathit. Secondly, 12mg is a bit too high for 0.5 ohm coils. You would be better off with 6mg 70vg/30pg or similar concentrations with VG being more than PG. Please find some 6mg, 70 VG eLiquids and I'm sure it should solve both the problems regarding throathit and spitback.

Would suggest you to buy from the Indian sellers that are listed in the Indian eLiquid Suppliers section on this forum.

I tried 30/70 PG VG juice from Mysticplumes (Oral SX & Tirimasu) with a 0.6 ohm coil. Still the spit back is there (this time I burnt my tongue and not able to eat anything salty of spicy ) and a horrible throat hit. 6 mg juice. Please suggest.

Makes me think that there could be something wrong with that used AIO you bought bhai. We don't see anyone else having problems with AIO. All that I could suggest, I've already done. We cut down the nic so much, cut down PG so much but you're still experiencing the spitback and throathit. Makes me wonder if the device is working properly or not..

You've mentioned that the tank gets heated up heavily, that's also a sign of problem with the AIO device. Return it back if possible, and buy something else that allows you to lower the wattage to your need. Fuck knows why these stupid companies keep coming up with starter kits that are NOT for starters.

Putting up a mech with a 0.5 ohm is a starter kit? Fuck knows who thinks that's a starter kit. I'm actually pissed off a these companies and started a thread at FT Forum a few days ago .. https://www.fasttech.com/forums/vape...e-starter-kits

Get any 80w device and get yourself a clearomizer. If you can't find any cheap mods, I will send my beloved Kamry 80w UTC TC Box Mod at the price I bought it for. It is wooden but who cares, it is damn lightweight. I will buy another one. I don't know man what else to say but it feels shitty that none of the suggestions worked and you are still left with a burnt tongue :/

Re: Your suggestions will be appreciated

Thanks a ton, Andy. As you suggested, I guess it is an issue with the device since my other tanks (aspire nautilus & iclear 30s) don't have this issue with the same juices.

Are you sure you can sell your beloved Kamry? Please also help to suggest a MOD which will go with MTL tanks as above with VV/VW control.

None of the tube mods have a good enough chip to support VW/TC .. there are very few of those.

Would highly suggest going with a box mod. You may find them a bit different in the beginning but in a couple of weeks, you will get so used to them. In a few months, you would be thinking, "How do people vape on tube mods?"

Well, any box mod will be fine as far as VW is concerned (Variable Wattage). VW allows you to take the wattage up or down as per your preference. If AIO had that feature, you could have lowered down the wattage to avoid too much heat. But anyway. there are many good mods available these days. But if you wish to go for the best one, then that would be a mod powered with Evolv DNA75 chip (SMY SDNA75, Lost Vape Therion, HCigar VT75, Think Vape Finder, etc).

If you just wish to vape on VW, there is really no point of running after TC (Temperature Control). But if you wish to know how deep it goes, then yeah, SMY SDNA75 will be good to begin with. Just $65 and you're all set.
