  • Ordering from FastTech (Read Me)

Here's what you need to consider while shopping through FT ....

    ORDERING

    1. Read enough reviews before you place an order. Ask questions to other forum members on FT forum or here on this forum.

    2. Check different versions of the same item. Make a search on FT or can even search on google (like this: Arctic Dolphin Mod site:www.fasttech.com). This will give you the search results ONLY from FastTech.

    3. Add items to your cart. But if you are not sure about certain items, add them to your Wishlist. You may wish to come back to those items. It will be easier to locate those items if you added them to your wishlist.

    4. Try the coupon code MAP for a discounted price. This coupon code may not work for all items. No harm in trying your luck with this coupon code

    4. DO NOT mix hardware, batteries and eLiquids in the same order. A lot of newbies do this mistake and then cry rivers on FB. Hardware in a separate order, batteries in separate and eLiquids in separate order.

    5. Also, make sure to check whether all items you wish to buy are "in stock" or "ships next day". If any item shows "ships in x days", FT does NOT have that item in stock. In such a case, create 2 orders. Add "available" items in one order and items that are not in stock, goes to a separate order.

    PAYMENTS

    1. Pay with PP, well I always pay with my Paypal account because I don't feel comfortable swiping my Credit Card on a Chinese website. Although FT is a trusted vendor but I still don't feel comfortable using my CC. So, Paypal is the first choice, CC/DC is the second choice.

    2. Once the order is paid for, if you wish to make changes, cancel particular items and get paid back in the form of a gift certificate. The process is instant. You can cancel the whole order and get paid back in the form of a store gift certificate instantly. Go ahead, create another order and use your Gift Certificate to pay. Canceling and re-ordering doesn't cost even a cent.

    3. If you wish to get a refund in your Paypal account or to your CC/DC (credit card/debit card), you may have to wait a couple of days or more before the refund shows in your account.

    4. If you don't get the option of paying through Paypal on certain vaping items (this may happen in the near future), put an order through for a non-vaping item and checkout. Immediately, cancel the order and get paid back in the form of a store GC. Buy whatever you wish to buy then

    5. Don't be stingy, pay $1 per item for "protective box packaging". It will save your stuff. HIGHLY recommend doing that when your order contains a regulated mod or eLiquids. Pay that extra $1 per item or be ready to get broken stuff or leaked juice all over you package.

    SHIPPING

    1. For hardware that does not have batteries, select SingPost Airmail or HongKong Airmail.
    2. For hardware that has batteries in it, select SingPost Airmail (if available). If Singpost is not showing up, select TNT-PostNL (Netherlands Post) Airmail.
    2. For eLiquids, select SingPost Airmail (if available). If SingPost is not showing up, select TNT-PostNL (Netherlands Post) Airmail.

Is Hong kong post better ? I just let them ship by their default method and they have always sent via Singapore post

HK Airmail is the best if the package doesn't have a battery or eLiquids. You will be amazed how fast you get your package(s) Anand bhai.

Awesome list Andy. Superb resource. Thanks man.

Would MODs with inbuilt batteries fall under the category of "batteries"?
And hence better routed through Singapore Mail?

Anything that has a battery installed in it, falls under the same category as the loose batteries (be it an ohm checker or anything else with inbuilt/fixed battery). SingPost is your best bet.

@Anandm.....Can vouch fr mumbai, last 30 orders from HK Air....the damned bottleneck is at FT itself, but once its handed over to HK, its in my hands within 6 days max ( different issue that FT / Supplier farts on it for a week) ;-)

Yeah well, I've given the suggestion to FT for numerous times. Speed up your local shipping (company that ships from FT warehouse to the main shippers like HK Airmail, SingPost, etc) and you will have a bunch of happy customers. But they're still using that ass company (forgot it's name) that takes 5 days to carry the product from FT warehouse to the main shipper.

Quantium or some name like that ... that takes packages from FT warehouse to the main shipper.

I know there are issues with FT local delivery, but mostly I have seen 3-4 days. This time it's been over 8 days and none of my shipments show actual receipt by Singapore post. It could also be an issue at Singapore posts end. Will definitely try HK next time
